Our Hostel is located on the corner of Brunswick Street and Hanover Street, Fitzroy. We are located behind a launderette (Our entrance is on Hanover Street).
FACILITIES
We offer 3, 6, 8, and 10-bed dorms that are simple, clean, and tidy. We also have single and double rooms. During hot season, you can stay inside and relax with the air conditioning that we provide.

Tramstop 14 Backpackers is an independently owned and operated hostel for travellers offering short- and long-term accommodation at affordable backpacker hostel rates in a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
Tramstop14 Backpackers has continued to operate during the COVID pandemic, but in a much smaller way. Of course the ‘backpackers’ have all returned to their home countries and during the past 18 months we have provided accommodation to many people, some of whom have been with us for the duration of the pandemic so far.
OUR ROOMS
Good things come in small packages and this is certainly true with this hostel in Melbourne.
Conveniently located on iconic Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, we offer a choice of private or dormitory-style rooms, free Wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and large screen TV, and reverse cycle air conditioning in every room. We provide all our guests with kitchen and bedroom storage facilities. Laundry facilities are also on-site.
Backpackers in Melbourne and Fitzroy is home to a very healthy live music scene, bars, cafes, art galleries and lots more, all within walking distance or easily accessible on the tram that goes right past the front door.
Existing residents love to welcome new guests who also quickly become a part of the Tramstop 14 family.
During COVID we can only accommodate 20 guests at any one time. We are conveniently located in the heart of Fitzroy on Brunswick Street, and the working traveller and tourist alike will find our hostel has everything they need.
